Banding Tool

This versatile banding tool is designed for use with banding straps up to 19mm wide and offers a tensioning capability of up to 2,400 lbs. It includes a built-in cutter for efficient operation.

Instructions for Use:

1. Prepare the Band:

   • Push the band through the buckle teeth towards the operator, with the ears facing up.
   • Pass the band around the object and through the buckle again. For double banding, repeat this process.
   • Anchor the end of the band by folding it back under the buckle and take up any slack.

2. Apply Tension:

   • Place the band in the slots of the tool.
   • Push the nose of the tool against the buckle.
   • Grip the band with the clamping lever and apply tension by turning the handle. Maximum pressure is achieved when there is no noticeable movement of the band between the nose and clamping block.

3. Finalize the Banding:

   • Swing the tool over the buckle to increase tension. To prevent breakage, slightly reverse the handle while swinging, maintaining band tension.
   • Cut the band using the cutter lever and slide the tool off, ensuring tension is maintained.

4. Secure the Band:

   • Hammer the ears down over the cut band to complete the process.
