The 4.8mm nylon cable tie is the standard width most trades reach for, and Krimpterm offer it in 17 sizes and 16 colours. Each pack holds 100 ties.
Lengths start at 120mm for small bundles and go up to 730mm for large looms and fixing round pipework or posts. The 4.8mm strap is a good match for the push mounts, adhesive bases and eyelets in the Krimpterm fixings range, many of which take ties up to this width.
Colours include light blue and five fluorescent shades, so ties can be used to identify routes on site as well as hold them. Ties are single use once locked.
Typical uses
- Bundling power and data cable in trunking and on tray
- Securing cable to ladder rack and containment
- Fixing hose, conduit and pipe insulation
- General site and maintenance use
