Insulated blade terminals put a flat, solid blade on the end of a stranded wire. The blade goes into a screw clamp or tunnel terminal, such as on a terminal block, contactor or breaker, so the screw bears on a solid surface instead of loose strands.

Each size is given as blade width x blade length, from 2.3mm x 10mm to 4.5mm x 18mm, so check the opening and depth of the clamp before ordering. The body is tin plated copper with a flared, vinyl insulated barrel. Red takes 0.5 to 1.5mm² wire, blue 1.5 to 2.5mm² and yellow 4 to 6mm².
