Adhesive lined heat shrink tubing on bulk reels from Krimpterm, with a 3:1 shrink ratio. It is dual-wall polyolefin. As the outer wall shrinks, the inner adhesive layer melts and flows into the joint to give a moisture-proof seal.
Electricians, panel builders and harness makers use it to seal crimped splices, cable ends and components, including outdoor and vehicle wiring where water can get in. The 3:1 ratio copes with a bigger step between connector and cable than standard 2:1 tube.
Choose a size whose supplied bore slips over the widest part of the joint. Reel length depends on size, from 150m on the 3.2mm reel down to 25m on 12.7mm and above. Red is offered in 12.7mm, 19.1mm and 25.4mm. Available in 8 sizes and 2 colours.
