Lipped blade terminals are flat insulated blades with a small lip at the tip. Like a standard blade they give a screw clamp terminal a solid surface to grip, and the lip gives the clamp an edge to hold against if the wire is pulled.
They come in packs of 100, in 2 sizes and 3 colours. The 3.0mm and 4.6mm sizes are the blade widths, and the blade is the same length on every red and blue version, so the choice comes down to how wide the clamp opening is. Red takes 0.5 to 1.5mm² wire, blue 1.5 to 2.5mm² and yellow 4 to 6mm²; yellow is made in 4.6mm only. Tin plated copper body, vinyl insulation, flared barrel.
