PTFE thread sealing tape from Krimpterm, supplied in packs of 10. There are two versions: a water tape to BS4375, W.R.A.S approved, on 12mm x 12m rolls, and a yellow gas tape to BS6920 on 12mm x 5m rolls.
PTFE tape is wrapped around male threads before assembly to seal the joint and help the fitting tighten smoothly. Plumbers and maintenance engineers use it on taps, valves, compression and threaded fittings.
Make sure you pick the right version for the job. The gas tape is yellow so it can be told apart from water tape on site. Order the water or gas version per pack of 10.
