Split conduit from Krimpterm, supplied in 50m lengths. It is black corrugated nylon tube with a slit along its length, so it opens up and goes over cables that are already terminated or installed. Krimpterm lists it as flame retardant and heat stabilised.
Maintenance teams and installers use it to add protection to existing wiring on machinery and vehicle looms, and to tidy cable runs behind panels and desks. To add or remove a cable later, open the slit. Nothing needs disconnecting.
On long runs, a split conduit insertion tool (sold separately in packs of 10) opens the slit and feeds the cables in as it travels. Available in 7 sizes.
