The ProGARM 9501 ARC 4 Switching Hood with PYRAD Technology is a flame resistant arc rated hood from UK arc flash clothing specialist ProGARM, arc rated to EN 61482-2 (APC 2, ELIM 40 cal/cm²) and certified to EN ISO 11612, EN 1149.
The ProGARM 9501 ARC 4 Switching Hood is engineered for professionals carrying out high-risk electrical and switching operations where Arc Flash protection is required. The system provides ARC 4 protection with an ELIM of 40 cal/cm² and APC 2 / 7kA Box Test performance, while the hood incorporates PYRAD Technology by GORE-TEX LABS for lightweight, breathable protection.
The strong ABS helmet is up to 20% lighter than most other helmets and incorporates a Dry-Tech sweatband and adjustable ratchet for improved comfort. Advanced moisture management helps keep the wearer cooler during demanding tasks, while the extended hood provides comprehensive head and neck coverage.
